Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 20, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how GetCybr, Inc. ("GetCybr," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website at getcybr.com. By using our website, you agree to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website owner.

Cookies allow a website to recognize your device and remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language or login state. This can make your next visit easier and the site more useful to you. Cookies can be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).

2. How We Obtain Your Consent

When you first visit getcybr.com, a cookie consent banner appears at the bottom of your screen. The banner offers three actions:

  • Accept All — grants consent for all four cookie categories.
  • Reject All — restricts cookies to Essential only; all analytics, marketing, and functional scripts remain blocked.
  • Manage Preferences — opens a toggle panel where you can enable or disable each category individually before saving.

Your choice is stored in localStorage under the key cookie_consent_v2 as a JSON object, for example:

{"essential": true, "analytics": true, "marketing": false, "functional": true}

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clicking Manage Preferences in the cookie banner (scroll to the bottom of any page) or by clearing your browser's local storage for getcybr.com — the banner will reappear on your next visit.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

We group our cookies into four categories. You can independently control Analytics, Marketing, and Functional cookies. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the site to operate.

3.1 Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can configure your browser to block these cookies, but some parts of the site may not work as a result. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

  • cookie_consent_v2 — stores your cookie consent preferences as a JSON object (localStorage, persistent). Auto-migrates from legacy cookie_consent key if present.

3.2 Analytics Cookies

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us understand which pages are the most and least popular and how visitors move around the site. These cookies are only activated after you provide Analytics consent.

  • Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) — collects anonymous usage data including pages visited, session duration, and referring sources. Maps to analytics_storage in Google Consent Mode v2. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

3.3 Marketing / Advertising Cookies

These cookies may be set through our site by advertising partners to measure ad effectiveness, build retargeting audiences, and show you relevant content on other platforms. Marketing scripts are loaded only when Marketing consent is granted. They map to ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization in Google Consent Mode v2.

  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — enables conversion tracking, retargeting, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager analytics for visitors who have interacted with our LinkedIn content. Governed by LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.
  • Facebook (Meta) Pixel — measures the effectiveness of advertising by tracking actions taken on our website after interacting with our Meta ads. Governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.

3.4 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality on our site. Disabling them may affect features such as the demo booking widget. They map to functionality_storage in Google Consent Mode v2.

  • Calendly — powers our "Get a Demo" booking widget. Calendly sets cookies to remember your timezone and scheduling preferences within the booking flow. Governed by Calendly's Privacy Policy.

4. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager (container ID: GTM-W6C8GFVF) to manage and deploy tracking tags on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data — it is a tag management system that controls which other tags (such as Google Analytics) are fired on our site.

We have implemented Google Consent Mode v2 with GTM. All tags managed through GTM respect your consent choices. We initialize all consent signals as denied by default before GTM loads, covering: analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and functionality_storage. These are updated to granted only after you explicitly accept the corresponding category.

For more information on how Google handles data, please review Google's Privacy Policy.

5. How to Control Cookies

Cookie Preference Panel

You can update your consent choices at any time by clicking Manage Preferences in the cookie banner at the bottom of any page. Toggle individual categories on or off and click Save My Preferences to apply immediately.

Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to delete certain cookies. Below are links to cookie management instructions for popular browsers:

Please note that blocking all cookies may impact the functionality of our website.

Google Analytics Opt-Out

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. This add-on instructs Google Analytics JavaScript to prohibit sending information to Google Analytics.

Withdraw or Change Your Consent

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time using the cookie banner on this site. To fully reset your consent preference, clear your browser's local storage for getcybr.com — the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit, allowing you to make a new selection.
